i-GRIP
i-GRIP (patent pending) represents a step forward in safe rail grapple load handling. When fitted to the unique GN rail grapple, i-GRIP indicates when the grapple legs are open and in an unsafe position where items could potentially be dropped through the legs or, when the legs pass each other, creating a safer lifting position. When grapples are handling bulky loads, often the grapple leg mouth plates are obscured from the view of the machine operator meaning it can be difficult to know when the grapple legs have passed each other into a safe lifting position. The i-GRIP indicator offers a new level of safety guidance when operating grapples.
